New Chemicals Have Added to the Stockholm Convention

Three new chemicals that have persistent organic pollutant characteristics have added to Annexes of Stockholm Convention on 7th Conference of Parties of Stockholm Convention (SC COP 7) held in Geneva Switzerland in 04-08 May 2015. These chemicals are:


• Pentachlorophenol, its salts and esters (PCP)
• Hexachlorobütadiene (HCBD)
• Chlorinated Naphthalenes (CNs)
