Article 2 of the law provides the definition hazardous waste.

Article 13 of the law sets principles for the manufacturing, use, storage, transportation, import and export of hazardous chemicals and management of hazardous wastes by referring to the related regulations. Moreover, it is stated that Ministry of Economy can prohibit or restrict the import of certain chemicals, products and wastes by consulting the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.

The law appoints administrative fines for the case of violation of the provisions.
